The 15th SCA Conference was held between 15 and 16 May 2015, at Angkor Paradise Hotel in Siem Reap city Angkor, Cambodia.
The 15 th SCA Conference Siem Reap City, Cambodia. The Conference was attended by thirteen member countries, namely, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia , Malaysia, Japan, China, Republic of Korea, The Philippines, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. On 15 and 16 May, Management Board Meetings were held and operations and future activities of SCA were discussed. Then, on 15 May, SCA International Symposium "Science and Technology for Culture" was organized by The Institute of Technology Cambodia (ITC).The Symposium began with the keynote speech by Prof. Takeshi Nakagawa, Director Open Air Museum Meiji-Mura, Japan titled "Potential Challenges for the Idea of Harmony of a Communal Society and Nature Learnt from Egypt and Angkor. Then it was followed by a series of lectures, presentations, paralel sessions and panel discussion addressing the three sub-themes, namely, "Preservation of Culture Heritage and Disaster Prevention", "The Food, Health and Environmental Preservation in the Era of Changing Climate" and "Sustainable Development and the Use of Energy". My presentation is The Potential of Palm Oil Mill Effluent for Upgrade of Biogas Production. It was attended by 265 participants academia/ researcher, government and public/ NGO.
