yektiYekti Maunati obtained her PhD from Department of Sociology and Anthropology, La Trobe University in 2001, and she is now a Professor Research of the Research Center for Regional Resources (PSDR) at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). Over the past several years, Yekti has been conducting research on the lives of Indigenous people/minorities living in the Southeast Asian countries, with a particularly focus on their identities.
