ulil2Ulil Amri works as a research anthropologist at the Research Center for Regional Resources, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), Jakarta, and lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammadiyah University in Kendari. His academic interests lie primarily in the field of anthropology of politics and environment, social-environmental movement, natural resource management, and anthropology of development.
