Mayasuri Presilla, M.A. is a researcher from the Division of Southeast Asian Studies in the Research Center for Regional Resources, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PSDR-LIPI). She received her Master Degree from Flinders University, Australia in 2009. Her thesis examines the relationship between poverty reduction and development policies in Vietnam.  Her interest is not finite only on poverty alleviation but also on other development issues.  Several research themes that have been done for about ten years working in LIPI include Response to Crisis in Thailand and the Philippines; Tourism in the Philippines,Vietnam and Bali; Local Resources Development in Nunukan (East Borneo); and Migrant Remittances Management in Sumbawa (West Nusa Tenggara). For the last three years, she has raised the theme of the Development of Agricultural Sector in Southeast Asia as the theme of her current research.
