Betti Rosita Sari, MA is one of Southeast Asian studies’ researcher at Research Center for Regional Resources-Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PSDR-LIPI). Since 2005, Betti had conducted several research projects on Ethnicity and Transnational Commerce in the Mekong Region. She also involved in Ethnicity and International Trade in the border areas between Indonesia and Malaysia research project in 2009-2010. Currently, she is doing research on Cham Diaspora in Southeast Asia: The Construction of Identity and Transnational Trade in Cambodia and Malaysia. Her ability on Khmer language and focus on Cham diaspora issues has led her to participate in the international conference. Betti received her Bachelor Degree in Economics and Development Studies at Gadjah Mada University and a Master in International Development Studies at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
