Deputy for Scientific Services

Dudi Hidayat was born in Sumedang in 1967. His formal education was taken at Delft University, Delft, the Netherlands in 1994, Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex Brighton, England in 1999 and the Faculty of Public Administration, University of Indonesia in 2019. He is fluent in English Indonesian, English and Dutch.

He started his career at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences in 1995 as a researcher at the Center for Analysis of Science and Technology Development (PAPPIPTEK) – LIPI. In 2001 – 2007 served as Head of the Research Division for Science and Technology Policy. In 2008 – 2010 carried out the duties of the Head of PAPPIPTEK. Since 2019 until now he has served as Head of the Center for Policy Research and Management of Science and Technology and Innovation (P2KMI). Currently he serves as Plt. Deputy for Scientific Services - LIPI.

As a science and technology and innovation policy researcher, he actively participates in a number of STI Workshops in a number of ASEAN countries: Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Myanmar. He also participated in various STI Policy forums in South Korea, Canada and France.
