LIPI and Kotawaringin Barat Regency Collaboration to Build E-Government Service

Government’s Regional Research and Development Agency of Kotawaringin Barat Regency (Bappeda) visited LIPI headquarters on Thursday (8/8). During the visit the delegation of Bappeda Kotawaringin Barat Regency presented a plan to collaborate with LIPI. In 2020 there will be 2 studies through self-management, the first related to the study of Spatial Integration System Development (Spatial System) and Electronic-Based Government Systems Study. Related to this, LIPI is trusted to be able to provide knowledge and assistance to make the plan runs well.

In addition to the two studies, They also plans to build an e-government system in its region so that people can easily access government services. Supervision from researchers from LIPI is considered.

“We want experts from LIPI to accompany us. Our plan, in December we will do an MoU and at the same time the PKS with the Bappeda can be done in January, “said one representative of the Bappeda of Kotawaringin Barat Regency.

Bridging the cooperation, BKHH as the cooperation service provider suggested that further studies be carried out immediately so that the needs of the Kotawaringin Barat Regency Government can be known. That way LIPI can immediately prepare the technical assistance needed.
